I’m Bree, I’m broke, and I’m big. Broke like I can afford food and rent and a reasonable lifestyle, but I’m stressed about it. Big like tall, not especially wide. And Bree like that’s my name. This blog isn’t intended to be just about broke-ness, it’s just part of my identity at this point and infiltrates almost all aspects of my life as money tends to do.
I’m hoping this blog can be a way for me to share some of my tips on managing the not so wealthy lifestyle I’ve been living for longer than I care to think about, as well as help me investigate some new tricks myself along the way. There will also be posts about whatever I feel like writing about. Relationships, travel, food, whatever!
There will definitely be a focus on the natural and spiritual way of things. I try to eat as close to whole food and organic as I can stand (sometimes I just need some hot wings and a doughnut). I use almost entirely natural products on my body and in my home (okay, apartment). So most, if not all, of my product recommendations will also be natural and/or organic. And I make a great effort to maintain my peace with an ever increasing lean into spirituality that I continue to explore.
Just a disclaimer, I’m single (hoping changes) and childless (hoping doesn’t), so this will not be the typical family oriented blog. I honestly can’t even fathom how thrifty I’d have to become to provide for children.
Another disclaimer, this is not the place for you if you take things too seriously. I am not going for a goal of vulgarity, but not promising a family friendly page either. And since I’m not sure where this will go or where my typing fingers will take me, for now, I am choosing to remain anonymous.
Finally, this site is definitely a work in progress at the moment. Please bear with me as I add more content and figure it out!
